Berbers

Berbers are very fascinating people who have a very inspiring culture and believe there is a way to do everything. Berber women are very different then the men in many ways becuase they have a different life mode and do different things. They believe women should wear something on top of there heads. Men can also wear things on there head, but unlike women they are not obliged to. Women spend most of their days at home making pottery, weaving, making the food, and also doing chores at home.

Berbers dont only have traditions for women, they also have traditions for food. They have a special way of cooking their food and eating it. The Berbers speciality is the couscous, tagines, and meat. The meat is usually served last and is served by the host of the house. The berbers eat with their right hand becuase they use their left for the bathroom. Although the Berbers have a very different culture then most people, they still have a very inspiring culture.

Weather in Morocco

I have lived in Morocco all my life. I am a moroccan citizen who likes living in Morocco because of the weather which is hot in summer and col during the winter. To me the weather is important because I wouldn't like to live in a place where the whole year it only rains or in a place where it's sunny and hot during the whole year.

In Morocco there are many warm cities, but there are also many cold cities, so what is good about living here is that if we want a city with hot weather, the we go to one of the hot cities such as Marrakech, and if we want a cold city where it snows, then we can go to Ifrane or Loukaindin. Rabat and Casablanca are nice cities to live in because of its hot and cold weather, that is never too hot or too cold. The weather in Morocco varies but it is still enjoyable.

After a week of research on the Berbers, I am starting to think that they are one of the most fascinating people in Morocco, but they are not the only interesting people. In our Moroccan study course we are learning about the Berbers that live in Morocco and their inspiring culture. We will also be learning about dynasties and other people from Morocco and their origins and traditions.
